Irena says “Bridgwater Town Council is Labour controlled, and I am standing to continue the good work of the council defending and promoting the interests of Bridgwater and the Sydenham community which is the living heartbeat of it. Bridgwater Town Council has been the main funder of Sydenham community centre since it was created. The schools in our area are of particular interest to me as is the Rollercoaster youth centre which the Town Council is also a major sponsor of. I am also a strong supporter of the arts and culture opportunities presented by the McMillan Theatre and of the sporting hub at Fairfax Park, all key to this vibrant part of our town. I am looking forward to working with Councillors Hilary Bruce and Leigh Redman to develop our community resources such as the marvellous Pantry project and Seeds of Hope
