Julie Cordiner


Julie Cordiner is a Labour councillor for Sedgemoor District Council and Bridgwater Town Council for the Victoria ward. She was born and grew up in Bridgwater, attending local schools then Bridgwater College. After leaving education, she moved to Malaysia and Australia to teach English.

Julie now lives in Victoria with her family. Julie is a teacher who has worked in schools locally and nationally. She has often helped parents access essential services for their children and families.

As a member of the Victoria Park Community Centre Board, Julie is working to support the community to ensure that services are available at a local level.

A mother of five children, all of whom attend schools in the ward, Julie understands the pressures of modern family life. Julie  says she will  act as a voice for the families and children of Victoria ward.

Julie is currently the Youth Portfolio Holder for Bridgwater Town Council.
