Tony lives in the centre of Bridgwater with his family. Raised in a close working-class family, he passionately believes that a healthy society will always act to protect its poorest and most vulnerable citizens.
Tony is currently Town Councillor for Eastover, and leads the Town Transport Forum, is Chair of the Bridgwater Cultural Partnership, and is also Deputy Mayor.
Tony is championing a 20mph speed restriction around Eastover School, which is close to being realised.
While Tony believes Hinkley Point will bring many benefits to the town, he also thinks the negative impact on local communities must be kept to an absolute minimum.
He’s also concerned that houses of multiple occupancy continue to put extra pressure on parking in Eastover. He will work with any residents who would like parking schemes in their area.
