Bridgwater Labour

Kathy Pearce & Brian Smedley, Bridgwater Labour leaders

This is the Website of  Bridgwater Labour Party. We have recently become the new BRIDGWATER CONSTITUENCY (see map). For years Bridgwater has been part of a very difficult to win constituency including large tracts of rural West Somerset where they bring in the Tory votes and candidates in wheelbarrows. In future our Parliamentary seat will be closer to the town of Bridgwater which has always been a Labour run town. Bridgwater elected 13 out of 16 Town Councillors and 4 out of 8 County Councillors and now finally we’re in with a chance to get a Labour MP!

Leigh Redman, County Labour Leader

The Labour Party is organised electorally to fight at Town, County, and Westminster elections and so has a base in each of the  Parliamentary Constituencies of Somerset and a County organisation ‘Somerset Labour Party’. That is a totally separate website and can be found here.
